A Story Steeped in Sound
Karen Luna is a young Latin artist-composer and saxophonist from Mexico City. Karen started studying and learning music at the age of 17, Karen studied the history of music, music theory, vocalization, harmony, counterpoint, and more. Surprising the public throughout the Mexican Republic with her music and versatility in musical styles. Karen has shared the stage with many renowned Latin American artists. Counting on 2 musical productions, Her first single entitled “Yo Quise Amarte” and her second single “Indestructible” which has captivated not only the Mexican public but also made noise internationally like; Spain, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia among others. Releasing three of her singles “Cougar“, “Estoy Con El” reaching over 132K views on YouTube, and “Me Quedo En Tus Ojos”, on the radio both in Mexico City and in the Mexican Republic.
In mid-2017 Karen released her single “Boba Loca” with urban overtones, and in 2019 Karen released her single “Aires Del Mayab” making its official release within Mexican music. Of her multiple performances, her presentation at the Lunario of the National Auditorium, her presentation at the Monitor Latino convention, as well as her presentation at the Metropolitan Theater together with Sonora Santanera, Karen Luna was the godmother of the summit of indigenous peoples of Tuxpan Veracruz and was invited to sing in Acapulco where she performed accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra of the State of Guerrero. Karen Luna will not only captivate you with her beautiful voice within the pop culture, but her powerful voice in the Ranchero music culture will also surprise you.
A Musical Journey
Karen Luna is also very much involved in the fashion industry herself being featured in several magazines in Mexico “Revista TV Notas” and different TV shows segments in Mexico. Karen’s love for fashion has made her create her own outfits for her very own music videos, this made her stand out at Red-Carpet events, and was always in the spotlight of photographers and news media in Mexico.
